Page 1 of 3 The first month of the National College-funded 'Maximising Progress' project has seen Handsam evaluate the current status of the schools in terms of management arrangements and financial performance and produce Action Plans for all five. The project includes implementation of three Handsam systems within the schools – Finance for Schools, online Health & Safety and Governors systems. Initial focus has been on the schools' financial performance. In evaluating and comparing the spending of the five schools in various areas of their budget we have developed a plan which aims to maximize both cost savings and time efficiencies for each school both on their individual needs and by looking at the cluster on a group level, something they have not done before in terms of how their schools are managed. We have also compared their spending through their Service Level Agreements with Warwickshire Education Services. |
